Together we will focus on one area of the body and do asana/ movements to balance the strength and flexibility of our muscles and connective tissue.
This class has a therapeutic approach and aims to counteract the most common body issues we develop from living life. (Neck and back pain, weak hips, tight/ vice gripped neck and shoulders, etc.)
For accessibility reasons we do not do asana where our body weight is put into our wrists or knees (plank, down dog, salabhasana). We also do not do poses laying prone on our bellies.
This is not a passive class however. Adjustments and different asana options allows students looking for a physically challenging class to increase intensity.
